The Japanese alphabet works differently than the English one, because characters are composed of a consonant and a vowel. So the first line is just the vowels: a-e-i-o-u. The second line "k"+each vowel: ka-ke-ki-ko-ku. And so on. The lyrics don't carry any meaning besides that.
